An industry analysis by Statista shows that during 2017-18, the barbeque sector experienced more rapidly declining sales and traffic than other food segments. Despite these industry headwinds, Famous Dave’s is uniquely positioned to grow. In fact, we believe this is a positive. As other barbeque franchise opportunities without the brand power, history, support infrastructure, financial backing and best-in-class product reduce their footprint, it will open up the landscape for Famous Dave’s Franchise Owners to capitalize on the diminished competition.
